Economic Impact Study
A sound investment to help grow Illinois’ economy today and tomorrow.
Bringing approximately $9.4 billion dollars in economic impact between 2014 and 2018, McCormick Square is a sound and critical investment in the economic vitality and stability of Illinois. A study released in February 2017 conducted by The Natalie P. Voorhees Center for Neighborhood and Community Improvement at the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois at Chicago examined the economic impact of current and future McCormick Square operations and construction.
